The China Toy & Juvenile Products Association (CTJPA) is the not-for-profit trade association representing the interests of the Chinese toy and juvenile products industry. The government, the trade, media and consumers recognize CTJPA as the authoritative voice of our industry.
As the Deputy Director of the National Technical Committee of Standardization for Toys and Juvenile Products, the CTJPA takes a lead role in developing and reviewing national product safety standards.
As the Deputy Director of the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) Committee, CTJPA coordinates with the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA) on effective CCC certification of toys and children’s car seats.
CTJPA is invited to provide constructive suggestions on industry-related policy-making by government organizations. CTJPA assists the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) in conducting market surveillance of product safety.
CTJPA became a member of the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI) in 1998 as the only official representative in China and now has assumed the Presidency of ICTI for 2015-17.
CTJPA was founded in 1986 as the China Toy Association.
CTJPA provides effective services to meet the needs of its diverse membership, and supports China toy & juvenile product industry growth globally.
CTJPA members today account for approximately 60% of toy and juvenile products manufacturers and brand agents, and 30% of distributors, department stores and chain stores in China. Its members also include licensing companies, design firms, educational institutions and testing labs. Total registered members are over 5,000.
