The 16th China International Trade Fair for Toys & Preschool Educational Resources (China Toy Expo) came to a successful end on Oct. 20th, 2017 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The 3-day-fair was held by China Toy & Juvenile Products Association, which attracted 71,819 visitors including 6,079 foreign visitors from 134 countries and regions, reflected its Asia's largest and world's second status in toy expo.
2,023 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions showcased 3,616 brands. The fair gathered the most international brands including LEGO, Barbie, Transformers, Hape, Chichoo, Fisher Price etc., especially the first-time exhibitors such as Baby Gund, Manhattan Toy from the US, Playmobil, Käthe Kruse from Germany, MEGAGIC, Magic School from France, Plum, Marvin’s Magic from the UK, and more brands from Israel, Spain, Singapore, Italy, Denmark, and other countries. Domestic suppliers from over 20 major toys and baby articles production regions bring their latest products to the fair to explore new business opportunities.
Among the special display areas at the fair, Global Trends in China is one of the hottest locations. Selected toys including STEAM toys, AR toys, innovative construction models, and other items hadn’t been released to the market for sale before the fair, but received great feedbacks and proved to be best-sellers in the next season.
The fair organized Business Matchmaking meetings and Private Sourcing Events to better connect buyers and suppliers. In order to further improve international buyers sourcing experience and efficiency, the specially designed Toys Export Zone was located next to International Business Matchmaking Area, gathering quality toy suppliers with thorough OEM&ODM experiences. Plus, all Star Suppliers strictly endorsed by CTJPA are clearly identified for international buyers. With all these services, international buyers can find targeted suppliers more easily and quickly.
